I notice that Beethoven is on the list. Someone at Microsoft must be a fan of classical music...

FrontPage was originally created by a company called Vermeer Technologies, bought by Microsoft on Jan 12, 1996. The office manager had a dog called Beethoven.

The Frontpage 2000 one has a nicer graphics, and you don't need frontpage explorer to do it. While using frontpage 2000, just do the help>about thing, and that's when you get to see the fireworks

For all who are having trouble in FP2000, I have a solution!! 1)Open Front-Page 2)Hold shift and never let off it!! 3)Click Help, then about, then OK very fast. 4)Repeat until a window with fireworks appears!

How does this work? What is supposed to happen? All I get is the standard About screen, and the third time or so a midi that sounds like the Microsoft startup sound plays. There are no fireworks or credits. I have FrontPage 2000 SR1.

If the help menu has been collapsed to show only the recently used items, you need to click on the downwards pointing arrow before doing the egg.
