About the Authors

We are the husband and wife team of David and Annette Wolf. We graduated in Computer Engineering together from the University of Washington. David also graduated from Stanford University with a masters degree in Computer Science. David works at Amazon, managing the Amazon Mobile iPhone and Tablet app teams. (By the way - we're hiring!) This archive was started in August 1995 as a nifty idea for an experiment with the new "frames" feature of Netscape and CGI programming on a web server. Thanks to all of you out there and your wonderful submissions, it grew from a hairbrained, half-cocked page to the definitive place to find Easter Eggs. In fact, we think this site is mainly responsible for bringing the term "Easter Egg" into widespread use. We love maintaining this archive and although we're busy at times, we want to provide you with an easy-to-use archive with great features. Over these years, you've provided us with so much information we had to write a book about it - Easter Eggs: Software Surprises. Now everyone can enjoy Easter Eggs, even if they're not connected to the net at the time.
