In the begining of Evil Dead, the car passes two fishermen who wave at them. These Fishermen are played by Sam Reimi, the director and the producer of the film.

Yes this is correct and for completeness the other Fisherman is none other than Robert Tapert.But it was of course he who produced the film.Sam Raimi(not reimi) wrote and directed this film.Not long after this scene after they are crossing the bridge there is a possible eegg in that Robert Tapert is clearly seen sitting at the side of the bridge as the car passes.Any one else notice this one.

that is robert tapert however it was a mistake he is not supposed to be in camera range (atleast i dont think but that is what i read)

The other fisherman is Rob Tapert not Ted Raimi. Ted's shoes do appear walking past the cellar door I think.
