Orange Phone Easter Egg - Hidden Menu

This only works for the owner of the answerphone, not for people leaving messages:

At the main menu say "Do me a favour". Wildfire replies "What kind of favour?"

Either ask:

1) I'm depressed - She will reply with a random comment. There's quite a few of these.

2) "What does a cow say?" - You'll hear a moo; ask about 10-12 times and she'll say "This is getting boring, this is what a mad cow sayes..." this is followed by a recording of somebody doing a mad cow impression.

This definately works, and is very cool. In reply to the above comment I always say it on the main menu and it always works. Also you can say 'What are my options?' as usual once in to be reminded of the two hidden options.

This is soooo cool! I just got Wildfire on my Orange phone and tried it. Who does that recording of a mad cow?!!! Oh yeah... to get Wildfire you need an Orange UK mobile. Once you have these call 435 from your Orange mobile to order or 177 for a demo line. There's a one-off connection charge to Wildfire of £10 GBP. She's really cool- she stores your contacts, calls people and greets your callers when you can't- thoroughly recommended.

I have just confirmed today (31st March 2005) that this one still works. You need a mobile phone on the UK network Orange (as stated above), and you must have the "Wildfire" voice recognition answerphone service - the standard Orange answerphone will NOT have this in it. When you dial your wildfire service, the first thing it does is tell you how many messages you have. At this point you can use the "Do me a favour" voice command as described above to take you into the submenu. Note that after you use one of the submenu commands, it will take you back into the main standard menu - you will have to say "Do me a favour" again to get back into the hidden one (for example if you are trying the "mad cow" part, which you should because it's quite quite insane and very cool). I hope this clears things up a little. I don't know how long ago it was I posted my earlier comment, but I know it's gotta be years and I'm glad Orange have left this in (or remained blisfully unaware of it!)
