Animal Crossing: City Folk Easter Egg - Gamecube and Homage to Original Game

This easter egg is a reference to the first debut of Animal Crossing out side of Japan. To get this easter egg is quite a struggle, as it is mostly by luck, but to get this Easter Egg, you have to find the "Pink Box" (you can find it in Tom Nooks/lost and found/residents/and the recycling bin. However, once you find this Pink Box, place it in your house facing you and look on the top shelf and you will find a Nintendo Gamecube and a controller, which is a reference to the first Animal Crossing debut, on the Nintendo GC.
