X Marks the Spot (XBloome) Easter Egg - XBloome: "Embrace life!" barcode

On the backside of the album "X marks the spot" [1] from the band "XBloome", there's a barcode in the lower-right corner, just like any other CD.

Usually, barcodes on music albums are EAN codes [2], but not this one: When scanning this barcode with a scanner that supports "Code 128" [3] it reads:
"Embrace life!"

Additionally, the number below the barcode is a proper EAN: "9 783895 844294", but from a different product: This EAN refers to a book called "Das Leben ist kurz" (="Life is short") by Jostein Gaarder [4][5].

This is very likely to be related to an accident by one of the band members, as mentioned on their website [6]:

"Unfortunately, the release of their new CD "X marks the spot" had to be postponed a bit, because of an accident of a band-member."
