Office, The (US) Easter Egg - Hidden Reference from the UK Version of the Office in the US Version
During episode 16 of season 5 of the US version "The Office" known as "Blood Drive" there is a hidden reference to the UK version also written, produced and created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. At about the 12:19 mark on the episode Michael Scott, Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin, holds an advertisement he created for a singles mixer located at the Dunder Mifflin office. For a brief second if you pause at the address of the Scranton branch it states the following-
"Dunder Mifflin
1725 Slough Ave.
Scranton PA, 18540"
For those who do not know the UK version was set in Slough, Berkshire where the paper company was named Wernham Hogg. As you can see as a die hard fan or a moderate viewer, this egg was just another humourous connection Ricky, Stephen, or a number of writers wrote in between the original UK version and the newer US version.
