Grand Theft Auto 4 Easter Egg - C.J.Dee's Beef

Located in the Meat Quarter, on the main road running parell with the street with the bowling alley(Hematite st & Union Drive West), is a building called 'Minster Meat Marker'.

On the outside wall of this building on the corner, there are some small hoardings advertising different fictional meat brands.

One of these brand's is C.J.Dee's (Beef), which some players of GTA 2 may remember being advertised on the radio, but back then, the name was used for the game's main hamburger chain spoof, later replaced by Burger Shot in future renditions.

The name C.J.Dee's is in turn a hidden joke to British players. As the CJD or Mad Cow Disease was an epidemic in the UK around the same time GTA 2 was being made by DMA (Rockstar North) in Scotland. Indeed in the GTA 2 radio commercials there are references to madness from the meat.
