I, Robot Easter Egg - Hitchhiker's Guide Reference

At the beginning of the film, Spooner opens the door, and the robot in front of him has the number "42" on his head. "42" being the answer to the meaning of life from from "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" series by Douglas Adams.

I feel that the number 42 on the 'bot' early in this movie has more to do with Issac Asimov's publishing of his first story wherein he uses his own newly coined word - "robotics"; you see, the story was published in the year 1942! The 'egg' thus is more appropos than aberrant.
