Zelda: Link's Awakening Easter Egg - New Name - Thief

OK, in the starter village, go into the shop, pick up an item, and quickly run around the back of the shopkeeper then out the door. If you're quick enough, and if his head follows you, you will have the item for free. Now when you escape from the shop, a message will pop up saying something like "Nice going, Thief, you just stole an item." Now go back into the shop, and the shopkeeper will be in the middle of the room and he'll say "There you are you little thief," and you'll be zapped and you'll die. Now you can choose to continue, and here's the fun part: You actually got to keep the stolen item, but now, if you talk to someone, they won't call you by your name you gave him, let's say Link, but now as Thief. This is good if you don't like your old name.
