Misery (Stephen King) Easter Egg - The Shining Reference

Im not real sure what page this is on, and some may not even call it an Easter Egg, but I thought it was interesting when I read it.

At one point in the story, when Annie is having one of her moments, she mentions something about a man burning down a nice bg old hotel called the Overlook when she was little(she may actually not have said when she was little). Anyone who's a true
Stephen Kimg fan will know that the Overlook is the main setting for the novel 'The Shining', which is quite possibly one of King's best works, and the man she's referring to is Jack Torrance, the main character.

Also, in Pet Sematary, the place where Louis buries his cat (and later his son) is a Micmac Burial Ground. The site that the Overlook was on used to be a Micmac Burial Ground. Coincedence...

Not really an egg. Lots of his books feature a persistent universe, for example the prison being Shawshank in many of his books, comment about how a dog goes rabid in others etc.
