Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction Easter Egg - A Lost Egyptian Artifact

You know that, every time you verify an ace, that a small news bulletin plays, right?

Well, during the video after you verify General Song (Ace of Spades), if you watch the news ticker at the bottom of the screen, you will see a news bulletin about a lost Egyptian artifact that was dug up in 1939, and how it was found in a government warehouse.

This lost artifact is likely to be the Ark of the Covenant, found in 1939 by Indiana Jones and stored in a government warehouse in the LucasArts film Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.

This is hardly a coincidence, given that Mercenaries is made in part by LucasArts.
