Stand, The (Stephen King) Easter Egg - The Shining

On page 502 of "The Stand" about 3/4 of the way down. Mother Abagail is talking to both Nick and Ralph about her dreams. "My own grandmother used to call it the shining lamp of God, sometimes just the shine."

In "The Shining" on page 117, Dick Hallorann is talking to Danny. "You got a knack," Hallorann said, turning to him. "Me, I've always called it shining. That's what my grandmother called it too. She had it.We used to sit in the kitchen when I was a boy no older than you and have long talks without even opening our mouths." After looking through "The Stand" I was able to find that a brother of Abagail was named Richard. Dick is short for Richard. Yet another reference to another SK book
