Fast forward to 24:46, where the shefiff is in the principal's, Mr. Squiggman, office. There is a name plate on the desk that says "Mr. Squiggy". The actor portraying the principal also played "Squiggy" on the TV show Laverne & Shirley (duh). More of an interesting tidbit than egg--is a sign on the wall for Shotz Beer--the brewery where Laverne & Shirley worked.
