Pinkerton (Weezer) Easter Egg - Picture of a Japanese Girl
When getting Weezer's "Pinkerton" (at least the CD version). Look at the back of the album. In about the center of the big, black empty space, next to the track titles. You can see a Japanese girl.
You definitely have to get it in the right light in order to see it.
The imprint of her, like her hair and shading, is of a darker black than the black used for the background.
If you’re a fan of Weezer you may know that the singer, Rivers Cuomo, likes Japanese girls, and sings about them from time to time. Like the song "Across the Sea" where he's singing about a girl who lives "in small city of Japan", who mailed him a letter wanting to know more about him.
As well as the very first line in "El Scorcho" is "Goddamn you half-Japanese girls, Do it to me every time".
