Halo 2 Easter Egg - Hummer Spoof

Get into a multiplayer mission on the level headlong. If you travel along the outside of the buildings on the upper levels, on one of the walls you should be able to find a billboard advertising the "Hog", a yellow gunless version of the Warthog.

This is obviously a spoof on the parts of the designers of Halo on the Hummer SUVs, when they took the military Hummers and advertised them with a yellow paint-job for commercial purchase.

You sure that's ALL? I thout the warthog was allways a refrence to the Humvee! I thought that ever since the origonal halo!

Yes, it probably was based off the Humvee to begin with, but now they've taken that to poke fun at the Humvee's trasition into a commercially sold vehicle.

You can purchase a toy of it, but in the game, I don't think it's possible to get one.

Well I do have to say that you CAN indeed get the golden warthog WITHOUT modding...I have done it a few times.. There is also a red warthog and a black warthog...

To get the golden warthog you need to have 16 people shoot at the poster with a rocket launcher at the same time, and it doesn't need modded either
