Magellan GPS Receivers Easter Egg - Hidden Firmware Menus

The factory diagnostic and configuration menus can be accessed while the unit is on by pressing "Menu" and then moving right, left, right, and left again with the direction panel/joystick.

An input box with "00" will appear. Using the direction panel/joystick, "Enter" and "Esc" buttons you can select a menu number and navigate through the options as usual.

The active menu numbers will vary depending on the model and its features. Some of the more common ones are:

00 - Firmware version display
01 - Current satellite datum
03 - Turn WAAS on/off
20 - Current sensor datum
99 - Software upload mode (pull battery to escape)
