Amazon.com Easter Egg - Exceptional Perpetual Website Easter Egg
As you may or may not know, website easter eggs are no longer excepted. Why you ask? Before they aren't perpetual, (they don't last forever.) Well, what I have here is a website easter egg that IS perpetual. How do I know this? Easy. Once you reach the easter egg there is a little P.S. note that tells you this egg will last forever.
I even once bought this up on the discussion board quite a while back and everyone agreed it was a cool easter egg. If you want to read that topic here is the link:

Go ahead and post in that topic if you want. If that's not enough, I also sent an email to Dave Wolf, the webmaster, and he has approved of this easter egg.
Anyway, let's get to the easter egg.
1. Go to amazon.com
2. When you're at the welcome page, scroll to the bottom until you see a whole bunch of links.
3. Click the "Directory of All Stores" link.
4. It will take to new page. Scroll all the way to the bottom until you see the copyright notice.
5. Directly under 1996 in the copyright notice is a small invisible link. Click on it. (If you can't seem to find it, that doesn't mean it's not there. Try holding down the tab key. This will highlight all the buttons on the page. I'm not sure if this works on all browsers though. I know it works on explorer.)
6. It will take you to a secret hidden web page in honor one of their old employees.
For those who are just plain lazy and want to take all the fun out of actually finding the egg, here is the link:

(I personally wouldn't use the link unless you have trouble finding the egg, because it really spoils the fun.)
This is one of my favorite easter eggs and I hope you'll find it cool to. Enjoy!
