Dogma Easter Egg - Hicks and Randall

When George Carlin is talking to the press about the church in the begining of the movie, look for Brian O'Halloran, better known as Dante hicks from Clerks. He also appears on a couple of televisions as, I believe, Andre Hicks.
Also When Mat Damon and Ben Affleck are in the gun store look for Jeff Anderson, better known as Randall from Clerks, behind the counter as the gun clerk

I can't remember if he's named in the credits or not, but Brian O'Halloran is also in Chasing Amy. He and Matt Damon play the Mtv execs trying to make Bluntman and Chronic into a cartoon. Could this be another Hicks cousin?

Bill Hicks was a stand-up comedian, noted for his intelligent deconstruction of such institutions as religion and American nationalism. Despite his acerbic wit, he always "preached" love over fear. He died too, too early of some rare form of cancer, which probably means that the government put two in the back of his head for being too on the money. He was a very talented man. (Although I doubt the Hicks clan is named after him!)
