Glen, John Easter Egg - Birds in Unexpected Places

John Glen has directed five James Bond films, License to Kill (1989), Living Daylights, The (1987), View to a Kill, A (1985), Octopussy (1983), and For Your Eyes Only (1981).

At some point during the making of For Your Eyes Only, Glen decided he wanted to add a trademark to all of his films just like Alfred Hitchcock's trademark was always appearing in his movies.

Glen settled on always putting in a bird in an unexpected place. Watch any of the five Bond films he directed, and there will always be a scene where a bird suddenly appears out of a crack, hole, or crevice, startling Bond as a result.
