Look at any copy of the comic 'The Beano'.
Somwhere hidden in the comic, (it could be in any strip) you will find a picture of a smelly sock.
The sock could be laying on the floor, in a tree or on a roof top, it could be anywhere!

You see them because the Artist, Tom Patterson just draws these quirky asides in pretty much all of his comic strips. The Artist Barry Glenard is also unsuccessfully trying to master this technique.
