Tomb Raider 2 Easter Egg - Lara Turns Into a Monster

I find this extremely interesting and so I tried. But HELP!! Someone please explain to me step 7 & 8 in detail!!

I'm full of questions. In step 5 and 6, how exactly do you minimize and mazimize the window? Is it changing between a full screen view and a window (F12) or is it minimizing it to the taskbar? When do you put away the shotgun? Step 7: Put away the shotgun (if you haven't already) and hold walk. Press jump and forward at the same time whilst holding insert. Do this four times or hold them down until Lara has dived four times. It is best to make sure you can do four dives in a row without crashing into a wall ahead of you. Step 8: Hold down ALT and TAB and type in "SCARY". Lara will probably jump up while you hold down ALT. Does that affect it?

I also want to try this, but it didn't worked until now. So can anyone please explain this trick in more detail? Did anyone get this to work? If Yes it would be nice if you could e-mail me a savegame of this, or is this all just a joke?

This is also about detail, 1. where abouts on level 3 2. when do you get your shotgun out 3. how do you minimize the window 4. when you hold ALT+TAB and type SCARY do you press them one by one or hold them all together at the same time in that order.

I agree. Sounds like a fake. If I'm wrong and you've done this, send me a screen capture or a save-game file.

IT'S EASY! To dive, press shift, ctrl, alt and hold while pressing forward. Now she will dive

hey, I've tried this and it isnt working. when i hold down ALT+TAB+scary it minimizes the window again! the throwing of guns works, though

Oh come on! Has there ever been a rumor as fake as this? Maximizing and Minimizing the window doesn't affect the game! Gee Whiz!

Okay- I'm pretty sure I've seen a screenshot of this ages ago but I can't remember where or when, so it's probably not a fake, and if muff13 can do it, why can't we? Like Nick said, it's all down to a lack of detail. 1. Level 3- is that Bartolli's hideout, or does Lara's home count as level 1, making it B. Hideout level 4? 2. Dive with insert- that's shift, jump, forward and insert, right? Problem is there are only a few places you can do it in a straight line, because it takes so much space. I usually try it in the the library. 3. Shotgun- When does she put the shotgun away? She can't dive with it out. 4. Pressing alt+tab can sometimes minimize the window, but try putting it in a window anyway by pressing F12. Then at least you can click on the thing in the top left hand corner. 5. Pressing Alt+Tab also makes her jump, which might affect the code. So far, I can't change the default settings to something else to stop her jumping. I'll post up anything I find useful. Thanks.

Olsjebo is right, there is no such egg. ALT+TAB does not do anything inside a program (or game) it's a windows command that is controlled by windows command interpreter, simply switches between running programs. I tried this egg with no luck until I realized what I stated above (and what Olsjebo said) Sorry kids... (excuse spelling errors) BM.

This egg didn't work but the dragon must be Xian. We have the chance to see and kill it in the Dragon's Lair (or Xian's Lair?) level. Xian is VERY HUGE and it can't fit into the narrow streets!

This is most definitely a fake. It won't work no matter what you try. But I thought I should mention that its actually possible to dive with the shotgun (or any weapon for that matter) out. She can even shoot whilst falling!

Hi everybody! I've tried this sequence, and I think it's a fake too, but... I've look for this, 'cause a friend of mine, on a Italian Tomb Raider forum, had casually found the correct sequence, but she don't remember what she did!! Simply she roll left and right, made jump casually, and, suddenly, Lara become a monster!! For this I think there is a way to do this, but I don't know what!!

I don't understand No. 8, it just makes you change window, so how can you make it not change the window???

The code above is fake. There is no dragon model/sprite in the game.
