Artemis Fowl Easter Egg - Fairy Writing
At the bottom of every page in the paperback version (probably the hardback version too), there are symbols. On page 26 in the 2nd chapter "Translation", there is a line of code written out. Use Artemis' translation of this code on page 27 to work out the symbols. The letter "e" is tricky, as it is the squiggly lines underneath the symbol that comes before it. Dots are spaces and full stops are arrows.
You can then translate the code. It starts with the phrase: "The prophecies of Ohm, phlegm pot cleaner to Frond elfen king".
It talks about the plot of this book, and then goes on to talk about the plot of the next book (Arctic Incident) and the enemy in that book. It repeats halfway through the book.
The code on the front cover says:"Carry me always, carry me well, I am thy teacher of herb and spell"
