Cube Easter Egg - Love and a Forty-Five

Put the Cube DVD upside down in your DVD player and it plays and entirely different movie.

The movie is Love and .45, starring Renee Zellwegger, Gil Bellows, Rory Cochrane, and Jeffery Combs, with an appearence by Reverend Horton Heat. It's a black comedy about a young couple of convenient store robbers. Hokey, but enjoyable because technically, it's free.

i have tried this in 3 different dvd players. nothing. got it from best buy, region 1. what am i doing wrong?

I think I know what the problem is. There was an older version of Cube in regular Pro Logic with bare bones features on it.That might be the version that has Love and a .45 on it. The newer version of Cube, the Signature Series, has a director's commentary and a new 5.1 sound mix and some "making-of" stuff on it. This version probably doesn't have the extra movie on it. Or, it could be the other way around of what I just typed. Check your packaging, people!

I flipped the dvd "Cube" over and played it and there was nothing on the other side. The player said "no disk". I must have the wrong version.
