Poser Easter Egg - See the Old UI in Poser 4
Here's an interesting Poser 4 easter egg, which may have been noticed before, but I'm going to bring up anyway. Close Poser if it's running.
Open your Poser 4 folder, then go to \Runtime\prefs\. Here select "Poser.ini", copy and paste the file (for backup purposes) so that you get a new file called "Copy of Poser.ini", and then open the original in Notepad. Scroll down to where it says "USE_META_UI" and change the "1" after this to a "0", or vice versa. Save the file and run Poser 4. You should see the somewhat dysfunctional interface that I assume was used in the MetaCreations version of the program*. Once you've had your fun, change the value back to what it originally was, or replace the edited Poser.ini with the backup . Enjoy!
*Actually, it might have been the Poser 3 interface, because Corel Bryce's interface is very similar to that of Curious Labs Poser 4, so it wouldn't make sense that such similar interfaces were designed by different companies *after* Bryce and Poser had been sold to Corel and Curious Labs, respectively.
