"The Dangerous Lives Of Altar Boys" features animated sequences by Todd McFarlane. The visuals in these episodes move pretty fast, so Todd and his crew had a little fun by throwing in some well-hidden jokes.

1. When Captain Asskicker executes a flying kick on one of the nuns, we can see the word "ASSKICKER" written on the sole of his boot, apparently intended to leave his name imbedded in his victim's forehead.
2. The evil nun Peg-Leg has the word "HATE" tattooed on the fingers of her right hand.
3. When The Muscle rips off his flesh to become Skeleton Boy, his skull is already wearing a headband.
