Dondi Easter Egg - Izzus a Eegg?

In this extremely lame motion picture based on the comic strip; Dondi (1961) is a film based on the life of an Italian orphan found after the Second World War. David Jansen plays an American GI who finds the boy (dondi= friend in Italian).

In one scene for a vague reason the late Patti Page writes and sings a song about Dondi who has run away and must be found. In this flick she is a platonic friend of Dealy (David Jansen).

A well dressed guy with a large tablet and with his back turned to the camera draws a picture of the little orphan that looks like a quick caricature of Dondi. No wait, it is the artist of the infamous strip: Irwin Hansen!!
