Army of Darkness Easter Egg - Hero in a Hell-Shell

Status: Undetermined. There is one guy in there with an odd shaped helmet and an orange bandana around it that looks very similar to a Ninja Turtle, but he is clearly a soldier of King Arthur's army. Can anyone else confirm/deny this?

No it's not. Look earlier in the film and you will see that soldier. I will admit it does look a lot like a turtle.

That definitely looks like a ninja turtle to me -- at least the head of a ninja turtle. I've got the movie on tape and looked several times and it definitely looks like one to me. It's right after Ash sets his alter-ego on fire, and then some guy says "We can't hold them back much longer." Then look in the background at the fight scene.

Upon further review, I can see that it's just the helmet and a bandana. It's a tough call, though.

Watched the DVD in super slow-mo, there's no ninja turtle. Also the DVD has commentary with Sam Raimi & Bruce Campbell, they point out a lot of stuff but make no mention of any ninja turtle. Sorry Kids :-(

sorry guys, I watched this part on a big screen TV. it's just a dude with a helmet and an orange ban Dana on his head No Turtle.

the ninja turtle looking guys are the guys who are gaurding the book..watch when the army is breaking through arthur grabs one and tells him to gaurd the book...then when the arrows are hidding arthur and the skeletons attack him the four dudes with helmets and ORANGE bandanas try to help him but he yells at them.
