That last one could have gone in the 'Triviastic' archive. I've been there and the reason there's not much stuff there is because a lot of things that could go in get submitted to the eggs archive instead.

In jail, Gromit also reads Crime and Punishment published by Penguin publishers. Feathers appears on the spine of the book.

The spine of Crime and Punishment is not an egg. Penguin are a real publishing company in Britain.

Sorry to keep stirring things up on this site, but why do people think every joke in a computer game / TV programme is an egg. I mean, the "Dog reads Paper headline is a funny joke, but is it an egg? All egg submitters, ask yourselves this question before submitting! :)

When he's reading Crime and Punishment while in jail, the spine reads: 'Dog'stoevsky, a clever pun on 'Dostoevsky'.

It may be true that Penguin is an actual publisher and that therefore questions its e-egg status, but it is still funny that they chose to use that particular one rather than Hodder & Stoughton which isn't funny at all; at least not as far as I'm aware. :-)

Lighten up, pat. This is a site for having fun, not for scientific accuracy. And by the way - does anyone know if Creature Comforts is availble on DVD? I've been looking and I've come up very short! ~Cstorm

I'd like to clear this publishing thing up. Over here in jolly England, there is a large book publisher called Penguin (with a children's version called puffin.) An awful lot of books here are published by them. Go to www.penguin.co.uk for more info on them. (Also, I've never heard of Hodder & Stoughton but I don't think it's as funny anyway)
