My Cousin Vinny Easter Egg - Georgia Filming Locale Credit

Toward the end of the movie, in a courtroom scene it is announced that the true killers of the store clerk were arrested by a Sheriff Tillman, in Jasper County, Georgia.
The majority of this film was shot on location in and around Jasper County, Georgia. Sheriff 'Mack' Tillman provided assistance to the producers.

I'm not sure if this is really an egg...If you have the DVD and watch the director's commentary, you will hear the director comment that the majority of the filming took place in Georgia not Alabama. This is a fact that anyone can hear if they have a DVD player or just watch the entire credits.

And actually, most of the filming took place in Covington, GA which is in Newton County, which is above Jasper County. I live in Covington, it is known as being the major filming place and anyone whose lived in Covington since 1992 can pretty much tell you how backed up Downtown always was because of the filming :)
