Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows Easter Egg - Rare Trailer

At any time, use the player's chapter search (NOT the Scene Selection on the DVD) to start playing Chapter 8. You should see the Artisan logo and the DVD introduction just like any other time you play the disk. When you reach the DVD's menu, hit the MENU button on the remote control and if this works you should be able to see the rarely-seen trailer for "Book of Shadows."

You might have to try this a few times but it's worth it, as the trailer is pretty spooky itself.

This is the same trailer that you would find if you used the DVD-ROM features on a computer, but at DVD-quality instead of QuickTime.

I've gone to chapter 8 through my DVD player and not through the scene access and I can't get that trailer can you be more specific or can you tell me another way?

I can help, since it worked for me.After you put the DVD in and it automatically plays, wait for the animated sequence before the menu comes to place.When it begins with the nice intro to the menu hit the chapter 8 key on your remote.After this is should go right back to the beginning of the intro again......let it be and wait for the menu to appear with the options as usual.When it's ready for you to make your choice in the options just hit your "MENU" key on the remote and it should pause and go to the begining of the rare trailer.

I couldn't get this to work on my Sanyo DVD player, but it worked on my PlayStation 2. On the PS2, I waited for the intro to start then pressed select on the controller. After that, instead of using a chapter selector, I used title selector and went to "08" which started the intro again. At the end of the intro, when the DVD's menu was on the screen, I went to select on the controller again and chose DVD Menu. This started the rare trailer. I haven't been able to find another way to play this trailer yet..

Actually the way it was designed to be accessed is a combination of the two easter eggs here...If you search for all the runes, after finding the last one and reading it, when you select back it will jump to the trailer. This freaked me out at 4 in the morning when I was searching for all the runes!!
