Handmaid's Tale, The Easter Egg - Marge and Greame, Sittin in a Tree
In Section VIII, Chapter 19, Offred comes upon a series of carvings on her desk. One of them is "M Loves G. 1972" -- Margaret Atwood's husband is Greame Gibson. 1972 is the year they married.
