Terratec EWS64 soundcard Easter Egg - A Small Hint

It's all very well putting "RTFM" on a soundcard PCB if the manual is indeed worth reading. As Terratec are justly famous for /diabolical/ documentation and highly confusing User-Interfaces I was more than a little peeved to find that on the card having just spent three days getting the damn thing going following the manual most carefully only to find it spring partly into life after doing something completely different. The pan settings on this card still change completely at random and effects appear and disappear with no relation to the UI or anything which may happen to be in the flimsy manuals. So the lesson to learn before filling your manual with hilarious German "humour" and making sarcastic comments on the board is to make sure that your product isn't as flakey as a fart and that your manual isn't a massive pile of crap. Try telling people what they actually need to know, with some worked examples. The more recent EWS88MT Terratec card at least works very well, but was provided with software which couldn't even do 24 bit recording - the main feature of the card. This is rather like selling a new BMW without an engine.
