X-Men Easter Egg - David Hayter

Holy sheeeeaaat, I knew that name sounded extremely familiar! I love Metal Gear Solid. That guy Hayter can also write, thats awesome.

As far as I can tell, the first police officer to get squished by Toad is David Hayter. For a picture of David Hayter try this: (credits to the Daily Radar of course). If you pause the image of the first police officer shown after the fly-by sequence over Ellis Island and Liberty Island it's fairly easy to see the resemblance. (If you go frame-by-frame on the actual getting-squished-by-Toad sequence, it's even easier - but you've got less than a second of video there.)

I originally sent a comment suggesting that David Hayter appeared as the cop killed by Toad, but according to the credits, I'm wrong. He's actually listed as "Museum Cop" - although the closest I can come up with is the cop who finds Mystique's body. The two cops killed by Sabretooth and Toad (on-screen) are listed as Sabretooth Cop and Toad Cop respectively - at least, presumably "Toad Cop" is the cop killed by Toad. By Museum they must mean the Statue of Liberty museum sequence - and the only prominent cop in that is the cop who finds Mystique. Which means that David Hayter may have survived X-Men after all.

Just to clear everything up: Hayter was the cop Mystique morphs into. The one with holes in him who the other cop discovers and says, "This one's still alive" or something.

Christ, David Hayter is the cop that says "hey this ones alive". how many of you have even seen Hayter in any thing else then x-men (and i don't mean HEARD him in metal gear solid) David hayter stared in a cult movie called "Guyver: dark hero" and he produced and stared in a movie called "burn" so the only reason i even saw x-men was because he wrote it so check and see that it wasn't the guy toad (darth maul from star wars episode 1 yeah its true) killed. sheeeat

David Hayter is pretty cool. I'm a huge fan of metal gear solid.I have all the games released on ps1 and ps2. But one thing I'm not sure of is why he has an other name(Sean Baker)which he uses in some movies eg:macross plus ,as Isamu Dyson.He's also that cop in X-men in which he wrote the movie. so if any of you have answers to my query email me. Note the double underscore in the address. I live in Australia but don't you U.S people tease me about it.

All right, there still seems to be some confusion here. I am a HUGE David Hayter fan, and have heard his voice work in Castle of Cagliostro, Gundam, Fushigi Yugi, Metal Gear Solid, Eternal Darkness, Wild on the Set, Madden 2003 NFL, and various interviews. David Hayter is the cop who says "this one's alive, let's get him out of here". There is absolutely NO doubt about it.

Hello y'all should know this. David Hayter is also known as Sean Barker. This is a character he played in the movies Guyver and Guyver two, a long time ago. He's been using that name too. So check the voice actors of Metal Gear Solid or MGS2:substance. There should be a Sean Barker as well. David is also the voice that says "EA Sports : it's in the game". And, as most of you know, he voice-acted in a lot of japanime's. If anyone knows more movies he played in, please let me know. I'm a big fan. Can't wait for MGS3: snake eater.
