Buffy the Vampire Slayer Easter Egg - Musical Reference to Jonathon Creek

Probably not many americans will get this one but..
In the aforementioned episode where Giles does a little briefing about the nasty guys of the week, he puts on some music (Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saëns) before starting.
This is the theme music from a BBC show called "Jonathan Creek" in which Anthony Stewart Head (Giles) played the magician 'Adam Klaus' in the first 2 episodes.

I saw this egg a while back before I read it here and Joss Whedon said in an interview on the official web site than this egg was strictly coincidence. But I'm not so sure. P.S. If you haven't seen Hush and you're a Buffy fan, then check it out because in my opinion it's the best episode to date.

It's a really famous piece of music, so it's probably on loads of stuff. I don't think that the makers of Buffy and the makers of Jonathan Creek are in cahoots!
