South Park Easter Egg - Fonzy Does a Voice

In the episode 'City on the Edge of Forever' (AKA 'Flashbacks')there is a flashback to Happy Days in which Fonzy does a motorbike jump over some cars. There is also a monster in the episode that does nothing except roar.

If you examine the credits you can see that Fonzy was voiced by soe unknown guy, but the 'Big Scary Monster' is credited to Henry Winkler - The guy who played the Fonz!

Well, they also have George Klooney credited for the voice of the dog in the "Stan's gay Dog" episode. The dog never said anything the whole episode...but...maybe they did record George breathing hard while humping a dog. You never know!

It is in fact George Clooney doing Sparky's barking and breathing. He approached Trey & Matt after seeing "The Spirit of Christmas" and said he wanted to do a voice. They thought it funny to have big celebrities play small roles, so they gave him the roll of the dog, they went onto the set of ER, borrowed him for 5 minutes, and added him in. George Clooney also plays the doctor in the scene in which Kenny is operated on in South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut.

"The City on the Edge of Forever" is the name of a Star Trek episode where Kirk, Spock and McCoy go back in time to the 1930s. Note that the kid who is killed by the big scary monster is dressed in a red Star Trek uniform; in Trek, if you ever saw a crewman in a red uniform who wasn't in the regular cast, you could pretty much guarantee that he was about to get killed.

A show shown in the UK about South Park had Trey and Mat actually confirming that Jerry Seinfield did the voice of 'chicken no. 5', so it is true.

I believe that the "All celebrity voices..." means only when there is a "celebrity" on like Barbara Streisand. I don't think it includes celebrities who are on the show doing voices belonging to characters other then themselves.

sboyajiantell that to Frank Welker, or Michael Winslow, or a bunch of other terrific voice actors who routinely make their living performing what you might call "non speech" roles. Even by your own apparent logic, it would appear to be a very fine line. Where would you put Donald Duck, or Blanc's Tasmanian Devil? How about a toaster that made a hilarious sound every time the toast was ready? Of course barks, heavy breathing, or any other sound a human being can possibly produce are "counted" as performance. I'm just not so convinced that credited appearences should count as easter eggs.
