Ultima VII Easter Egg - The Plaque of Death and Lord British

At every day in the game at 12 o'clock noon, Lord British will walk directly under the sign in his castle reading "The Throne Room of Lord British." When he is standing in that location, double click on the sign and you will see the sign fall down and chop his head off.

This is actually based on a true story. The Origin Systems office building was located in the west Austin hill country. It had big glass front doors fixed with powerful magnets at the top of those doors. One day, Richard Garriott and some other folks went out to lunch, and when Richard opened the door, a large block of metal forming a part of the magnetical lock got detached and fell on Richard's head. Even though this metal block weighed about ten pounds and had sharp edges, Richard survived the blow, and the team "implemented" this event as an easter egg into the game. How weird that weeks later, the same metal block fell on the same Richard Garriott's head, and he survived again. Talk about invincibility in computer games...
