Lois & Clark Easter Egg - A Little Inside Joke

I can't remember the episode's name but it was the one that someone kidnapped Clark's parents (and the one that Lois was frozen).
Superman tries to find his parents by tracking a smell of a unique flower. He bumps into an ex-football player (who i don't know his name) who now sells flowers. Superman asks the man why he sells flowers and the man answers that he injured his knee so he couldn't play no more. Superman says: "tell me about it" smiles and walks away.
It's an egg because Dean Cain the actor who plays Superman was a football player before becoming an actor and was forced to quit because of a knee injury.
