Don't Be Afraid (Information Society) Easter Egg - White Roses

If not the greatest musical easter egg of all time, this is certainly at least the most complex and difficult to execute. If you have Don't Be Afraid, you've noticed that the final track "White Roses", sounds like random noise. In reality, it's a modem signal which, when properly fed to a modem, will transfer a compressed file... you're probably thinking "Oh, no big deal, they did that in the Peace And Love Inc. CD too"... but this one is much juicier and more fun. The file is actually only the first of SIXTEEN (!) different pieces of the full song, and instructions on how to get the second part. Those with the dedication to find the other 15 parts and join them will be treated to a seven-minute song. Gee, for all that work it must be brilliant, right? Well, it's basically no better (or worse) than most of the tracks on this CD. It might even be a bit of a letdown to some. But hey, it's all about the thrill of the hunt anyway, isn't it?
